Windows installation
1. Click Windows on this page to download RainChat-1.0.0-x64.exe.
2. Double-click the installer. If you see “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info → Run anyway.
3. If the file is marked as coming from the internet: right-click the installer → Properties → check Unblock → Apply.
4. If Windows 11 Smart App Control blocks the install, turn it off and try again:
• Press Win + I to open Settings.
• Go to Privacy & security → Windows Security.
• Click Open Windows Security.
• Open App & browser control.
• Click Smart App Control settings.
• Change the status from On to Off and confirm.
5. If Microsoft Defender still blocks the file, add an exclusion, then run the installer again.
6. Requires Windows 10 or later, 64-bit (x64). This installer does not support ARM Windows.
7. After setup, open RainChat from the Start menu.
macOS installation
1. Click macOS Apple to download the .dmg package.
2. Open the disk image and drag RainChat into Applications. Do not open it from the disk image.
3. If macOS says “RainChat is damaged and can’t be opened”, the file is not broken. macOS blocked an unsigned download:
• Open Terminal.
• Click Copy for RainChat or RainChat Studio below, paste into Terminal, then press Return.
• Open the app from Applications.
4. If macOS says the developer cannot be verified: Control-click RainChat → Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
5. This build is for Apple silicon (M1 / M2 / M3 / M4). Intel Macs cannot run this package.

Windows: the .exe is for Intel/AMD 64-bit (x64). Check Settings → System → About → System type.
macOS: the .dmg is Apple silicon only (M chip). Open Apple menu → About This Mac. If you see Apple M1/M2/M3/M4, you can install. Intel Macs are not compatible with this build.
Studio entry and tutorial
Download RainChat Studio from this page: Studio Windows (.exe, x64) or Studio macOS Apple (.dmg, Apple silicon).
1. Install and sign in to RainChat Studio.
2. New hosts must complete host verification before going live.
3. Set the title and cover, choose camera / YY / OBS sources, then start live.
4. Open Tutorial inside Studio for the YY beauty + OBS setup guide.
5. Download YY from the official site below.
PC app usage
Watch lives from Home. Studio is only for broadcasting.
Language, VIP, recharge and messages are in the top bar after you sign in.
If a live preview is black, check your network and try another room.
Keep RainChat updated by downloading the latest installer from this page.
Recharge
1. Sign in first. Coins are bound to the signed-in account.
2. Open Recharge from the top bar or wallet page.
3. Choose a package and complete payment on the cashier page. Allow pop-ups if it does not open.
4. When sending coins to someone else, double-check the user ID before paying.
5. If you paid but coins are missing, keep the order ID and contact support via email or WhatsApp.
